Tale Forge is designed for children ages 4-9 under parental supervision. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation provisions for children (GDPR Article 8).
- We require parental consent for account creation
- We do not collect personal information directly from children
- Child profiles are managed exclusively by parents/guardians
- All story data is associated with the parent's account

- We use Supabase (EU-hosted) for secure data storage
- Row-level security ensures users can only access their own data
- AI-generated content is moderated for age-appropriateness

Parents can at any time:
- View all stories and data associated with their child's profile
- Delete child profiles and associated data
- Export their data upon request
- Deactivate or delete their account
